Keeping a healthy lifestyle is something entrepreneurs struggle with every day. The good news is that NGIN Workplace is here to help! We’ve listed the top five tips for you to follow and achieve a healthy lifestyle.
Make Your Own Schedule
Being able to organize your day is one of the best ways to improve your mental health. We all work under different itineraries. By offering 24/7 access to our coworking space, NGIN helps entrepreneurs stay healthy and happy with the flexibility to create their own schedules!
Making sure that you have a balanced diet will keep your metabolism active, even while you are sitting at a desk. NGIN sets up fruits and vegetables for breakfast and lunch so you have access to food if you are in a rush or even if you just forgot to bring something with you! There’s always granola you can snatch up on your way to a meeting. This allows you to get rid of fatty snacks but still stay full throughout your workday.
Exercise can be tough. Being able to find the time to work out is even more difficult. At NGIN, we took that problem into our own hands! Every Wednesday we run our own CrossFIT class, and the best part? It only takes 15 minutes out of your day! We even have showers so you don’t have to spend the rest of your workday is sticky clothes. Seems like a win-win for everyone.
When you are sitting at your desk it is easy to forget to drink water. But drinking water is essential for a healthy lifestyle, and you can get dehydrated even when you aren’t moving. NGIN keeps bottles of water in the fridge so you have easy access to as much as you need. We have even partnered up with Essentia Water! Ok, so this tip might not be necessarily healthy. Entrepreneurs do a lot of hard work! You deserve a treat every once and a while. At the end of each month, NGIN celebrates our member’s birthdays with a gluten free ice cream cake from JP Licks! This is a special treat for everyone. We also make pancakes the first Wednesday of each month and have wine and cheese nights! While these aren’t every day occurrences, having a few treats every month help keep our members happy! Mental health is just as important as physical, after all.
