Since childhood, we have been using collaboration techniques to produce better work. In many cases, it started as reading groups or sharing brainstorming ideas. It turned into group projects and presentations. Regardless of how old you were, as a student, you would find yourself working in groups.
Why should all of that change once you’re no longer a student? As an entrepreneur, you may find it is difficult to reach your maximum creativity while working on a project by yourself. However, it does not have to be this way. Coworking spaces provide the community an entrepreneur needs help their creativity and productivity. Although all coworking spaces do this differently, NGIN has found many techniques to maximize collaboration in our community.
The setup of NGIN’s office space is where collaboration begins. The office is designed as four neighborhoods that contain a mixture of shared desks, personal and group offices, and meeting spaces. The four neighborhoods meet in the middle with a community kitchen area and bistro. With this office design, people can have all of the privacy they need to get work done, but also have endless opportunities for conversation and collaboration with others.
Another important part of NGIN’s community of collaboration is hosting events that inspire networking. Every month, we have pancake day, wine and cheese night, and birthday celebrations. In addition to these, companies in the office will host Lunch & Learns where they share their latest project in the kitchen during lunchtime. These events help members meet each other and network, which provides them more opportunities to collaborate within the community.
Being an entrepreneur may seem lonely at times, but being a member of the right coworking space can change that. Our goal at NGIN is to actively change this and help you get what you need to be successful.
